Love – Really?

While on the subject of love, I recently did a presentation on love. It was specifically on the biochemistry of love and how it applies into the psychological aspects of love. Very interesting information came up. Particularly romantic love had alot of interesting components. For example, romantic love contains many of the same brain responses and chemical makeup as OCD!! That’s right, love is a disease.

Alot of the research going on with love is centered around Helen Fischer’s research, as far as I can tell. Although alot of research has been done on animal love aside from this. Here is a cool video of her doing a talk for TED:
