Colbert Report: Transcending Minds?

So, recently on the Colbert Report, he asked individuals to buy a cd for his Christmas album. This was in response to Kanye West’s album being #1 and him saying he is the voice of this generation (to take him down a peg, lol). Interestingly enough, this 3 day plea to get people to buy his album on itunes actually worked. Yes, people were either so against Kanye’s music or so brainwashed by Colbert’s persona on TV that they actually listened to him making purchasing advice… That or people just have tons of money to just throw around… X_X

It’s not so much about the cause,  but rather so interesting to me that the population, only by Colbert’s message, acted. Interesting…
